Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do you accept insurance?

We do not accept insurance directly at this time. However, we are happy to provide a Superbill for all services. A Superbill is a detailed receipt that you can submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. Many clients find that their insurance company is able to cover part or all of the costs using this method. We recommend checking with your provider to understand your out-of-network benefits.

2. Who do you work with?

We provide speech therapy services for both children and adults. Therapy is tailored to meet each individual’s needs, with a focus on building meaningful skills for everyday life.

3. What areas of speech therapy do you address?

We specialize in a wide range of areas, including:

  • Cognition (e.g., memory, attention, problem-solving)

  • Communication (e.g., social language skills, expressive/receptive language)

  • Swallowing (for clients with dysphagia or feeding concerns)

  • Speech Sound Disorders (articulation, phonological delays)

  • Language Development (delays, disorders, or support for bilingual/multilingual learners)

  • Voice and Fluency (e.g., stuttering, voice disorders)

Each treatment plan is customized based on a comprehensive evaluation and your personal goals.

4. Where are services provided?

We provide therapy services exclusively through telehealth and in-home visits. This allows for greater flexibility, convenience, and comfort—especially for clients who benefit from receiving therapy in their familiar environment.

  • Telehealth sessions are conducted via secure, HIPAA-compliant video conferencing platforms.

  • In-home sessions are available for families and individuals located within our service area.

5. How do I get started?

Getting started is easy! We offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to introduce ourselves, answer any questions, and learn more about your needs. From there, we’ll schedule a comprehensive evaluation to create a therapy plan that’s right for you or your child.

6. Do I need a referral from a doctor?

No referral is required to begin speech therapy services. However, if you plan to submit a Superbill for insurance reimbursement, your provider may request a physician’s referral or diagnosis code. We’re happy to work with your doctor to coordinate care if needed.

7. What areas do you serve for in-home visits?

We currently offer in-home speech therapy services to clients located in San Diego and surrounding areas. If you're unsure whether you're in our service area, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to check for you!
